With the car:

In Puerto Rico there are two harbours, the “Spirit of the Sea” has its mooring in the base harbour, which is the one on the left facing the sea. You will find us right in front of the harbour entrance barrier at about 70 metres.

If you are coming from Arguineguin on the GC 500 road: Follow the coast road until you reach the small tunnel before Puerto Rico, marked in blue on the map.

Take the GC 1 motorway, exit Puerto Rico. Cross Puerto Rico until you cross the old road and look for after the junction: Puerto Base or Parking Puerto Base.

The port itself is a car park so you can park close to the boat, although you will of course have to pay to use it. The approximate cost for two hours is €3.

There is also the possibility of street parking and blue zone parking (for a fee) near the harbour.

If you don’t have a car

The pick-up service is included in the price. Remember to request it when you make your booking in case you need it.
The pick-up service is available in the following areas: from Mogán to Playa del Cura and from Bahía Feliz to Meloneras.

If you prefer to use the city transport it is best to ask at the hotel reception, there are too many to be able to show all the possibilities here. In any case, in the link below you can consult the lines, timetables and routes of the bus company.

If you are coming from Las Palmas

The best is the Global bus 91, which goes almost directly to Puerto Rico, with only a few stops. The bus leaves from the “Parque de San Telmo” in Las Palmas.

Here you can consult the bus timetables:

The nearest bus stop to our port, Puerto Base in Puerto Rico, where the “Spirit of the Sea” is docked is called “Agua de la Perra”, asks the bus driver.

How to reach us from the bus stop.

What is the capacity of the ship?

The ship was originally built for 120 seats, however, never embarks more than 100 people including crew, leaving enough space for all passengers.

The boat was built for this activity and in addition to the safety aspects, it was built with the comfort of the passengers in mind, so that the maximum number of passengers could have a place with the best possible view of the sea to enjoy the marine life on the surface: dolphins, whales, sea turtles, flying fish…

Is there a toilet on the ship?

Yes, the boat has a toilet that can be used during the navigation.

Can I get seasick on the boat?

Yes, like everything else at sea, if the sea moves, the ship moves and this can make some people seasick.

How can I avoid motion sickness?

The best thing to do is to take measures against seasickness before boarding the ship. There are various products available in pharmacies to combat seasickness when travelling, whether by boat, car, plane, etc.

There are pills, chewing gum, acupressure bracelets and other products.

On board, it is best to avoid moving from place to place and enclosed spaces.
